Welcome to Inventory by Elmvick, developed by Elmvick. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use our mobile application (“App”).

1. Information We Collect

Inventory by Elmvick is designed to work primarily offline on your device.

a) Inventory Data

The App stores information that you create during inventory operations, such as:

inventory identifiers or names
scanned product codes
storage location codes
quantities counted
timestamps of entries

This data is stored locally on your device. The developer does not receive or collect this information.

b) Imported Files

The App allows importing spreadsheet files, including Excel and CSV files (for example product catalogs or inventory lists). These files are:

processed only on the device
not uploaded to any external server

c) Exported Data

The App allows exporting inventory results, including XLSX files, that you can share manually using your device. These exports are created only when the user explicitly chooses to export data.

d) Device Information

The App may access limited device information required for normal operation, such as:

camera access (for barcode scanning)
storage access (to import or export files)

This information is used only to enable app functionality.

2. How We Use Your Information

Data created inside the app is used only to:

record inventory operations
generate inventory reports
export inventory data to files chosen by the user

The developer does not collect, store, or analyze your inventory data.

3. Data Storage

All inventory data is stored locally on your device. The app currently does not use cloud storage or remote servers. If you uninstall the app, local data stored by the app may be removed depending on your device settings.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share user data.

Data leaves the device only if the user explicitly chooses to:

export files
share exported files using device sharing features

5. Security

The app stores data locally on the device using standard mobile storage mechanisms. While reasonable care is taken to protect data, no software system can guarantee absolute security. Users are responsible for protecting access to their own devices.

6. Children's Privacy

Inventory by Elmvick is not intended for children under the age of 13. The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

7. Your Control Over Data

Because the app stores data locally on your device, you have full control over it. You may:

delete inventories inside the app
remove exported files manually
uninstall the app to remove stored data
